Blog excursion #1
So I’ve been spamming my friends and colleagues for a couple of years now with Bible verses and my take on life. Thought about moving to a blog a year ago, but a couple of readers told me they were too lazy to go to a web site, but that I was welcome to continue filling their inbox. That seemed wrong, then and now, but I went with it. I hate it when someone asks for input and then they ignore the input. My “lazy” readers have since left me anyway, so I think I’ll try the blog thing a while. Not that I have anything all that insightful to offer. Just a way to get out there and share my faith journey with anyone that might be willing to listen.

Hi Steve! How do you do this? I am very interested in a blog for a board of directors on which i sit! Can these be made private so that only certain people are allowed to read the posts and responses?
Oscar – I can’t answer any technical questions. Click on link to wordpress.com for info on getting started. Blogger is another popular host site, but this one was recommended to me.
Hi Steve! This is the most useless, silly, perverted, unidimensional thing I have ever seen! Wait. That’s MY blog, I’m thinking about. Sorry.
I so love this new concept in junk mail. Wait. It CAN’T be junk mail if I went to it, right? Oh, I get it. I can go to Steve’s Sunrise Sermonette or not. That’s way too dangerous, Steve. You are just setting yourself up to be ignored. Of course the down-side is that idiots like me will be wasting all your “Leave a comment” space. Wait. Did I just call myself an idiot? Ok, seriously: This is so cool. I have never been to a “blog” before. Oh, I just realized that you are probably looking for a serious comment about your reflection on weaknesses. Ok, if you insist: I think that it is a very balanced way to create people. You create someone to carry out your plan on this earth, and you give them some strengths and some weaknesses. The strengths are designed to help them carry out your plan and the weaknesses are to keep them from getting too big headed about the whole deal. You know, being alive and part of God’s chosen people and all that good stuff that makes some people tempted to start playing
God themselves. So instead of taking his ball and bat and going home, God makes YOU get His ball and bat before He calls you home. Like the sports analogy? Ok, so I should stick to science, right? Ok, then let me tell you about the theory of evolution. Wait, I’ll save that for my own blog.
This is awesome and Awesome. The feedback is going to feed my soul… i usually go too fast and think i will come back to absorb it later. Reading the comments slows me down and helps me relate. GREAT ADDITION STEVE@@! keep up the good work!
